SUKMA XII - DOUBLES RESULTS

Sorry for the late update. :)

The Boys and Girls doubles Medal Winners were determined yesterday and Sarawak and Selangor took 1 gold each.

In the morning, the Girls Squad B took to the lanes and it was a neck to neck fight between Sarawak; Jacqueline & Dayang; and Perak; Nazrinnah & Nor Atteya. In the final game, only 6 pins separated them with Sarawak having the lead. Only 1 of the Perak bowlers had to double strike in the 10th frame but failed to do so and they had to settle for the silver. The Bronze medal was won by Negeri Sembilan's pair of Adlin Nadhirah and Nur Hidayah. This is Sarawak's 1st medal in the 12th edition of SUKMA. They are definitely gunning for more medals after this.

In the Boys Doubes, Gold went to Selangor, Silver to Johor and Bronze to Pahang. Four SUKMA records were shattered yesterday. The Gold Medalists, Xavian and Ahmad Amiruddin broke three records while the fourth by Khairul Diaz of Johor.
